Looking through my notes I think I do have a likely birth Maud Mary J born in Shoreditch in 1906 sounds probable. I may take a chance on that. |

Thanks again everyone. I think I will have my work cut out trying to sort out any births here, if you do find a birth at the time you think is right if there is no way of identifying the parents it could be anyone and I have sent for quite enought certificates in my time and found they were not the ones I wanted, I am loathe to do it anymore. Have experienced births before marriage in my Grandmothers case. she married after having 5 children and went on to have more. |

Thanks everyone - I will look into the possibility of any children. I do have marriage certificate which was at the end of the year - December 1904 - so any children born to them would be in 1905 or maybe a bit later on. |

Does anyone think there is any point in looking for descendents from Edward Alfred Chapman 1878 who married Mary Jane Turton 1865 in 1904 when he was 28 years old and she was 39. I know women were still having babies at that age but is there any chance that a woman would have had a first child at that age. |
