The marriage may not have been in September. They are registered in quarters so it could have been July August or September. But if it is her why did she marry and then leave so suddenly and revert to her maiden name!!

Just a quick update
Spoke to cousin in WA..
Ivy & Hilda Munn known to family & Cyril even
went to live with them at one stage.

Knew Edith had sisters by the name of Beatrice
& Rhoda (letters found).

Edith came to Aust.1913 & married George
Thomas Drage in 1917. We have looked for a marriage
here in Australia but nothing has
shown up....yet!!

I will pass this info to Edith's g/son in Western Aust
& see what we can piece together.
I do have an extract of Cyril's birth cert. but it was
issued in Perth WA on 3/3/1934 stating
his parents as George Thomas Drage & Edith Hannah
Drage!!! Cyril had to have it as he was getting married.
It does state he was born Dist. of Sittingbourne on
5.1.1912.

Am searching for parents' details for Edith (Hannah)
Waller b Kent 1888/1889, poss. Snodland area. Also
Cyril S Munn or Waller b Mar qtr 1912 Milton dist.
(Sittingbourne??) Kent.....believed to be Edith's son.
Both came to Aust 1913/14 on poss.ship "Ajana" &
travelled with the Munn family.
(We think her parents' names may have been
John Waller & Emma Maud Muddle altho on her
marriage cert her father was John Taylor)

Edith married my Uncle but was married under the name
of Edith Taylor...a shroud of secrecy about Edith was
evident in the older family members & so
any secret went to the grave with them!!!

Any help to unravel this mystery would be greatly
appreciated.
