thank you for info Linda

Wondered if any of this links to his father? John Churchman Robertson shown as deceased on Grandad's marriage cert in 1937, and address on this cert is 18 Winchester Road, Hampstead. Really struggling on this side of family.

Thank you loads.

Got marriage cert fro my Grandad (Douglas Lister Robertson), married Doris Maude Bell on 2nd Oct 1937, he was 27 and she was 32.

Grandad was living in Hampstead, NW5 - father's details John Churchsman Robertson (deceased at time of marriage) - stuck at this point again - help!!!!

My Nan (Doris Maude) was living in Kensington, LOndon at time of marriage - fathers details Charles Trojen? (not sure on this middle name - difficult to read) Bell - his profession was an Engineer - would love to know so much more on both sides of the family - any help would be fab.

Suzanne Report 17 Sep 2008 20:31

Shirley

Douglas born around Middlesex area of London, or West Scotland? not 100% certain - as there is a link with Scotland (he had a cousin or sister up there when I was little - and a family home somewhere on west coast) - I'm sorry, I know it is very vague, but I no longer have contact with my dad or that side of the family.

Thank you for your time

Nerine

Not sure on nan's name - sorry- no info, other than I suppose through marriage to my grandad - which I presume would have been late 1920's, 1930's and linked with births of my dad and my uncle?

Got absolutely no info on nan!!!!

Thank you loads
