Member Since: January 2005 Posts: 26 Send Message	I have received a marriage certificate in the post today for my great great grandfather John Buckley. He married Mary Florence Robins in 1912 and was apparently 33 at the time. All my family from that time until now have lived in a small villiage called Gnosall in Stafford, Staffordshire. It is stated on the marriage certificate that they lived in gnosall at the time of marriage. I cannot find any record of John Buckley on the Census for 1891 or 1901 or the Birth records for 1879. His Fathers name was Thomas Buckley whos occupation at time of marriage was platelayer?? I'm presuming they came from Staffordshire or Shropshire. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I don't want my research to come to a standstill at this point. Thanks Vikki

	Victoria th best site I think for doing your research is Ancestry. Genes costs far too much.

	To find births, marriages and death s.... go to www.freebmd.org.uk It's a free site, on which volunteers are entering all the bmds since registration started on July 1 1837. It's still a work in progress, but is continuously being updated. sylvia
