Find Ancestors

Hi could anyone help me find info about my grandmother. I have very little information. I was told she was born 1901 in fulham but cannot find birth. In 1901 census she is living at 5 kenneth road fulam with a family called Thomas. This same family in 1891 census is living at 11 Haldane Road fulham. They have an elder daughter called Annie Louisa and I am trying to find out if she married someone called French. Have found a marriage between Richard French and a Rose Annie L Thomas in St Saviour 1898 but can anyone find a Annie louisa Thomas. Any info much appreciated

I would strongly suspect that Rose Annie L. and Annie Louisa are one and the same.

As far as I know she was born approx 1875 but not 100%. Annie Louisa.

And could this explain why you can't find her birth, the age in 1901 should be 10 years not 10 months!?!

A big thank you to u all I have a good lead to follow. The mystery deepens but am loving every minute of it. Your theory might be right cos my grandmother told my mum a few things that were not right and I am now wondering if she was a lot older than she said.

There was a Marie French born in Q3 1900, exactly the right time period for your Marie, but she was born in Hull. Could it be that when was visiting her grandparents they just said she was born in Fulham, similar things/mistakes were made.
Unless of course you know that she was born and bought up in London.

It is fun isn't it although frustrating sometimes too...!!
