There is one on the 1891 census indexed as John B Parkin (father William) aged 9.

Looking on freeBMD for John Parkins born 1878 - 1883 in Easington there is only one John Robert and he was born Dec 1881.

The marriage cert should give his fathers info so you can confirm from that.

Just wondering if anyone has any information on EDITH MARY SMITH she married a John Robert PARKIN.

My Grandad William was born August 1902 in Easington CoDurham.
Robert was a Miner (a linker). On Williams BC.there is an address of 3,Front Row,Horden Colliery,Shotton.
EDITH and ROBERT were my Great Grandparents.
I dont know how to obtain a Marriage cert.as I havn't got a date of when or where they married.
