Find Ancestors

Hi can anyone help me find a Margaret Ann Fawcett born 1885 ulverston lancs in the 1901 census?

she married john woodburn in 1905 ulverston lancs

gave birth 1910 to ada in ulverston lancs (no father listed on birth cert???)

i have found her in the 1891 census but can't find her in 1901!

any pointers or help greatly appreciated!!

It was an Hotel Annette

Had another look at original....looks more like...Stafs head Hotel...Stags head Hotel??

When I search the 1901 census it still comes up with no matches for margaret a fawcett!! Bah! stupid computers.... good job you know what your doing!!
just checked phone book and there is still a stags head hotel there! might have a look there next time i'm passing!

Maybe this is why the child had no Father on his Birth cert 1910????

When you checked for Margaret A Fawcett did you put 1885 Ulverston Lancashire. If so perhaps thats why you got no match.

Sometimes adding too much info isnt a good idea. As you see in 1901 Margaret is born 1883 and in Alverston Lancashire

Haven't got the certificate yet so don't know his age or anything else! tried to search births for him but there are millions of john woodburns! REALLY wish there were some bouquet or onslow names to search in my family! hahaha.
I wondered if his death was the reason for not being named on the certificate, but surely they would just put his name and deceased on it wouldn't they???

Tried the search, still no joy i found a blanchetta though! now thats what i call a name!!!

Margaret - thanks but i think alveston will just be a misspelling of ulverston, as I have never heard of alveston.

Ada was born 2nd April 1910 Ulverston Lancs. She is listed as Ada Woodburn, but when she married Bobby Fell in 1930 she calls her self ada woodburn fawcett!!

Aaahhh....I like that... it shows she talked with her Mum and must have been close....

Wish i had asked my Mum things! like....what was her Mothers maiden name!

She once told me it was something like Hovis...like the brown bread people....turned out to be Overs/Hovers and going futher back it was HOVARD!!!
