Looking for descendents of Edward Alfred Chapman born London at 23 Church St - a pub called The Catherine Wheel - Kensington in 1878. 1901 Census shows him working as a barman at 210 High St. Poplar - a public house called The Resolute - His parents were Alfred Chapman (1840) and Sara Francis Silk (1852)
He was 23 yrs old in 1901 and unmarried I would like to know if he had any descendents. Can anyone help...

First...look for a marriage

If you find it..........try looking for offspring on the same site, providing the marriage was before about 1925

You will only know you have the right marriage (if any) by obtaining the cert and checking his age and his father's details

Alternatively, wait for the 1911 census to be released..............
