Find Ancestors

I have been trying to find out anything about my grandfather and his family i.e parents, siblings. We think he came from Wales and l know he lived in Liverpool from early 1900's he died in Waterloo,Liverpool, Lancashire ,England in 1951. His wifes maiden name was Mary Richards who may have been born in Scotland, He is a complete mystery I cannot find anything out athough I have been trying for ages.. If anybody can help I would be grateful..He had the following children (but they are all deceased now.) Emily, Florence(Florrie), Margaret(Maggie), Mary, William(Bill), Emma, Ralph(Ralphie), Elizabeth(Lizzie) Chirstine(Chrissie) Also my Mum was Louisa born Sept 1903.

how old was he when he died

Was his surname William?

When did he marry? Who was his father on the marriage certificate?

Have you found him on 1881 census www.familysearch.org (free to search)

this marriage is also a possiblity considering he lived in Liverpool

Have you got the older childrens birth certificates proving name of mother? You don't say when any of them were born

I know his first daughter Emily was born about 1900 then I know for sure his son William Richard Williams was born 1902 dont know any other date for sure.

No I dont have any certificates. But I do know he lived in Liverpool from early 1900's until he died on 1st March 1951. My Mother Louisa Williams was born 10th Sept 1903 in Liverpool and reg: West Derby, brothers William Richard Williams was also born in Liverpool in 1902 (NOV ??). I am sure of those details. I have applied for a copy of my mother birth cert and her marriage cert. Maybe I will gain some knowledge from them.I.
I have tried to put the names in order of who was born first ect. ect I think Emily was born about 1900 and then Florence a short while after. I know
they were the eldest and I know Christine (Chrissie)was youngest and Lizzie was next to yougest. They are definte facts.

Thanks for the interest you have show I really appreciate it. We have been told Grandad came from Wales??? AS you will know there are somany Williams's in Wales.
