As there is an Annie born 1926 mmn Draper I would go for the Draper option for William. You need to get the birth certificate stating on your order his father's name which you will have from the marriage certificate.

THANKYOU FOR THE INFO .YES GLADYS WAS BORN IN WIGAN AND BORN IN 1921 MOTHERS MAIDEN NAME HUNTER.I KNOW OF ONE OTHER PERSON ON THE SITE WITH THOMAS WILLIAMS OF 1921 WHICH IS MY AUNTIE ,WE ARE BOTH SEARCHING FOR OUR FAMILY TREE OF WILLIAMS.
WE HAVE SEEN THE TWO NAMES OF DRAPER AND KNOWLES UNDER THE BIRTH OF THOMAS WILLIAMS BUT DO NOT KNOW HOW TO GET ANY OTHER INFORMATION. THE THOMAS WILLIAMS BORN IN 1921 HAS A BROTHER CALL WILLIAM NOT SURE OF AGE COULD BE ANYTHING BETWEEN 1916-1925 ISH AND BELIEVE THER WAS A SISTER CALLED ANNIE WILLIAMS BORN LATER. IS THER ANY WAY OF US FINDING OUT THE YEAR OF BIRTH OF THE TWO THOMAS WILLIAMS YOU HAVE FOUND.THANKYOU ONCE AGAIN.

Where was Gladys born?..could it be Wigan 1921,mother's maiden name Hunter.?There are 3 other people who have a Thomas Williams 1921 Wigan on this site.Have you contacted them to see if there's a connection?..

The marriage took place in Wigan,so the mother's maiden name of Thomas Williams could be either Draper or knowles as they were both registered at Wigan also.

Assuming he has no middle name and you say Lancashire,there are four Thomas Williams to choose from.

Mother's maiden name either...Clarke,Aspinall,Draper or Knowles.

If you have the marriage certificate then you'll be given the father's name ,Address and possibly occupation which will then give you a better lead to finding the parent's

there are to many thomas williams born 1926 in lancashire to make a good guess at his parents, do you have anything else to go on??

Trying to find any information on the parents of THOMAS WILLIAMS born 03 Oct 1921 died 1982. Believe place of birth was Lancashire England. Married Gladys Winnard 29/07/1939.
