No I definitely haven't got his parents.
I am going to get a copy of his birth certificate to see where I can go from there
Thanks

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. My fault for not reading the 'newbies' bit and it must be frustrating for everyone trying to help as you say
I can cope with a rant when it's well deserved - off to read 'newbies' now
xx

As I said earlier I am quite bemused by all this- changing the spelling of the surname is not exactly a help!
Thank you for this, it is very much appreciated

Thank you.

I am having difficulty getting my head around this, what with the origin and the name spelling change it makes for a very confusing addition.
Would you have any ideas how I would get a copy Heinrichs birth certificate?

Debra

Debra Report 15 Aug 2008 11:18

It could be, the spelling is different and sounds as if they may not have originated from England but then they may have dropped the H and the extra N
Thank you

If you buy their marriage certificate it should give you their fathers names which should help find them on earlier census records.
