I have my gg grandmother as Mary A Siggers living in Romford 1901 with children Gertrude, Agatha,Edith, winifred and mable. She went on to marry George Saich. I am desperately trying to seek my blood gg grandfather who was said to have married beneath himself and was subsequently cut from the family and killed in the war. he supposedly had 2 sisters. If anyone has this story in their family would they please reply

The confusion comes with a name change from Mary Agnes to Agnes Mary. I will work on this lot and see what I come up with

I have sent away for 2 of the childrens birth certificates to establish mothers maiden name. It looks like Wetsel or Netsel, so far nobody has been able to decifer it. We have a birth year of circa 1861 Brentwood, Essex. I can not find a marriage for Mary and Charles and have come to a dead end. Can anyone please help

Thanks everyone for your help, Through tracing the Saich side I have found my relatives back to Gt Gt Gt grandparents, now they are proving difficult as one is German and the other Irish.
