HI Everyone
Is anyone out there looking for the dawes family in Cumbria?I have got as far back as 1851 and found george and Elizabeth dawes living in the Longtown district.I have found three different spellings of Dawes.There is also dowes and dows.Is this normal?Would love some help !

Has anyone got a George Smith who married a Alice Grady in their tree please.
