Evelyn F Williams was born 1913 and died 1913.She probably is the daughter of Kate Pogson and the reason why Kate named her 1916 daughter,of the same name.

You seem unsure of Kate's birth so here it is:

Kate jane Pogson gave birth to Katharine Charlotte in 1912 ..MMN pogson

Fathers are all declared as William Williams

But I found another birthof a Evelyn F in 1913
and want to know how to find other POSSIBLE births to Kate Jane Pogson

We cant find WHERE she found William Williams BUT my mum says thats her Grandads name

I'm totally confused now.

What was Kate's maiden name? - Pogson?

How many partners do you think she had? - 2?

What were their surnames? - Wolstencroft & Williams?

There's always that possibility that a related Pogson married a Williams & they had little Evelyn. A couple of years later Kate had a little girl whom she named after Evelyn.

Right found the 1912 registration in Q3 for Katherine.


The only way to check whether the 1913 event is connected is to find a baptism or get the cert.

I uld also like to find Kate Janes death ......
But is that pogson
wolstencroft ..as we cant find divorce or death of Thomas
Williams ..her second common law! hubby

BUT
Kate Jane Pogson married Thomas G Wolstencroft in 1909 ...in 1912 Kate had a baby called Catherine !!?? my granny ......I know granny had sisters Evelyn and Diana .....
I also know my mums Grandad (kate hubby ) was called William Williams ......
So we have to assume that Thomas left and William Williams appeared !!! and my grannys and Mums certificates show this ......

So is this child Kates ..?? and has she had more I,d like to trace ?

That child has the surname Williams, how are you connecting the events to the Wolstencroft/Pogson marriage?

What part of the country are we talking about?

There is one area (in particular a town) where the Pogson surname is very common.

No I dont ....I found the child by accident ...And its hers I think coz ...the child born in 1916 has the same name and the childs mothers maiden name is Pogson

Search for children born to my Great granny .....She was born Kate Jane Pogson 1882.....married a man T wolstencroft 1909 ....children born 1912, 1916,1922 ....but I found another one born 1913 died 1913 ........all to a different man !!
Can I find other children born to her ...BUT how ...do I really have to go through the quaters one at a time ??
