Hello my names lisa i am trying to findmy nans nans mum here name was APPLEY H JENKS in the 1881 census some one helped me find her and said her name was APLIANNA LEWIS well i cant seem to find any thing for her at all id be really greatful if some one could be helpful and help me to find something out about her she was born in 1834 in BASCHURCH and she married GEORGE JENKS later became JINKS? dont know which some records are in JENKS some are in JINKS

The others will be on the same page in the register. But you can see both names Lewis and Jenks so this looks like their marriage.

This looks like noani's birth but registered under Jinks, not jenks

yes and we also found that in the 1901 census he was married to an APTIN so this is y we were finding it so hard to find anything and still its a little con

With such an unuaual name I am not surprised that it is different on each census. On the 1891 census although the name is different the area born is the same so it is likely that with a place like baschuch being quoted the wife is the same one, simply using a different (perhaps middle) name.
