my name is kelly gordon and i am trying to trace any living relatives of my dads side of the family .
my dad was adpted after 2 and a half years of being born , his birth name was david henry browne and was born on the 22/12/1954 in ilford essex ,the king george hospital
his fathers name i believe was also david browne and his mothers name we think is inez louisa browne .
we have also heard that they may have had 11 other children .
his adptive parents where henry alfred and ellen gordon .
the only other piece of information we have is the date of adption which was the 31/10/1956.
we would be greatful for any information or help anyone can give us

Have you applied for the birth certificate? This will give you his parents' details. It's not registered until the first quarter of 1955

(tip)Never pay more than £7
(another tip) for a marriage,you only need
put one partners name when ordering.

If you are ordering online from the GRO,
make sure that when the form asks
"Is the full GRO reference known?"

Hi my name is Margaret
My mum had 2 boys adopted out and I know for sure 1 was called david and the other I am not sure we believe his name was sean/shaun
my mums name was Inez Louisa browne at the time of the adoption and yes she remarried and had 6 children 3 boys and 3 girls

Margaret, welcome to the boards.

Seeing as it's nearly 5 years since Kelly/David posted they're unlikely to see your reply. Try clicking on the name "David" to send a direct message as you surely seem to have a connection. If they're still an active member then they'll be notified.
