Anyone here have relations by the name of Carr in their tree.?
Imigrated to Australia in the 1960's from the UK?
5 kids?

You could ask the 'National Library of Australia' (Canberra) - they have an 'Ask a Librarian' service on-line - they will check electoral rolls for them -if you give them their full names and approx. year they arrived. ......Valerie

I dont know if you got my last message on 14th, anyway you asked if anyone had relatives named Carr who emigrated to Australia?
Could be my uncle Harry Carr, who emigrated from Surrey in the 60,s I think? can you help??

Hi Tim,

My Carr's are Leslie Carr, his wife Bessie.
And 5 kids.
Stanley, Christina, Richard, Melvyn, Caroline.
They imigrated in 1960 aboard the SS Orontes.
They were living in Corfe Castle, Dorset.
