You have not given us exactly what you are looking for? I suspect you are looking for your birth mother who may have married after your birth in 1968.

I may have found her birth, I found the only Janet B.M. SMITH between 1947 and 1952.

Janet B.M. SMITH mothers maiden name BARROW
OND 1952. Surrey N.E. (ref. 5g 506)

Could not see a marriage of Janet B.M. SMITH between 1969 and 1977 incl. but she may have dropped the initials and you can imagine how many Janet Smith's were married in that period.

I looked at SMITH /BARROW marriages for Surrey N.E. in years before 1952 and found none but they could have married anywhere.

You might obtain the birth certificate above as it would give you your grandparents names and other lines of enquiry tracing possible siblings as well as grandparents. You might also post another message on 'trying to find' with the Barrow link,
