Hi to ALL !!
I have just discovered details on MY Rosetta Basire and have now found that she came out to Australia on the ship "Stebonheath" from PLYMOUTH, England in March, 1858 at age 22 years - but the spelling of her surname was incorrect as it was spelt BOSIRE with an O and not BASIRE with an A !! She came ALONE so NO DETAILS again about her PARENTS ?
Could anyone now help me with how to find out the parents' names ? If she came here to Australia in 1858 when she was 22 she must have been born in 1836 ? And even though we have presumed she was FRENCH she must have lived - or possibly born - in ENGLAND.
MANY THANKS for ANY help if you can possibly afford the time.
Regards,
Gilda
