Hi there, me and my dad who live nearly 300 miles part are trying to peice together the shakeshaft family. We know there is an awful lot of us Shakeshafts.

My fathers father is John Alfred Shakeshaft born in 1913? and his mother is Martha Shakeshaft (mn Kemp) born in 1918.

Can some one please get in touch if these names ring a bell?

yes there is an awful lot of shakeshafts from wirral, we think though that there is a second family of shakeshafts from wirral, it all gets a bit confusing
