Thank you Helen for the information but until i can get his marriage certificate i am not sure what his mother's name is i know that they came to Australia and he died in 1905 in Sth Australia. that is all i can tell you at the moment but is there a Charles Brown born in Cornwell at all. I can tell you he ws 28 yrs old when he married Sarah Townsend in Sth Australia so that would make the year around 1840-41 when he was born sorry about that. Regards Robin |

Hi all i am trying to find information about a Charles William Brown born around 1838-1841 in Redruth Cornwell. England his father's name was Stephen Brown i am just waiting for a marriage certificate for him now as there is no record of him being born in Sth Australia where they settled and he did marry a Sarah Townsend in 1869 her father's name was John Townsend, I have the children of the marriage as one of them was my grandfather whom i did not know by the way and i have found a cousin from one of the children.
