Yvonne,
If you copy the welsh on the gravestone my husband will try to translate it for you as he speaks fluent welsh, if it would help.

Unfortunately I don't have Thomas's parents names.

I have a photo of the grave where Eliza Jane was buried but the headstone is written in Welsh, which I cannot read. It does mention a John Jones and a Jane Jones which I presume will be either her parents or grandparents. I remember my dad saying his mum - Eliza - was buried in Minera cemetary.

Have you looked on Minera Ancestry Website. There is a forum which covers Coedpoeth and surrounding areas. My Williams family arrived in Coedpoeth around 1865 and are still there to this present date. Even though I haven't come across any of the names you have mentioned I do know there was another well known Williams family living in the area. There are also two books published about Coedpoeth which you may be interested in.

Yvonne Report 15 Jul 2008 23:49

Can anyone help? I've been trying to find the marriage certificate of my grandparents Thomas Price Williams and Eliza (or could be Elizabeth) Jane Jones. Both were born in or around Coedporth. Thomas was born in 1886 and Eliza was born in 1889. They had one son John Price Williams (my dad) who was born on 19.2.1913.
Thanks.
