oh what a shame,,, the 1885 looks not too bad he would only be 30 or just 31 in 1916,,the 1900 would make him only 16,,,!

But just to be on the safe side,,he may only have Thomas at reg and E was added at baptizm?and born anywhere,,,

The Romney one is still in Romney in 1901 aged 16 and lists only him and parents,,,,,,
