	Daniel was married to Matilda. Had children - William (1863), John (1865), James(1867), Daniel (1870), Jane (1873) and Mary (1877). Mary was my great great grandmother. Mary married Alfred Hall in 1896. The family lived in newport, gwent and Im pretty sure the children were all born in Newport. Does anyone have this family in their tree?

	Thank you all so much. And Jim, Im just going to search the trees, thank you. Ive always thought I was Welsh but it seems most of my family originate in England!! Janice - is that last entry Daniel Senior and his mother? Surely not another unmarried Mum?! I thought that was a 20th century thing! You guys are amazing!! How is it that I can never find these things when I look?!! I must be doing it wrong..

Also it gives John Cox born 1815 either Kilmington or Bruton and was a Brick Burner. There is a birth registration for Daniel Cox, December 1838, vol.10 page 485, Wincanton (which covers Bruton). 	lol sorry Jim, I read that as a census entry with just the two of them on it! Mouth is washed.... Im going to look into this a bit more. Thank you for all your help. Im also going to practice look ups as Im obviously doing something wrong, not finding the things you are finding!

	Could 'Barton' and 'Bruton' be the same place but misinterpreted in the census due to the handwriting or accent (or education!) <<<< ignore this - Ive found they are two different places. And that Wincanton isnt that far away either.This all ties in! Cant help thinking that we have the same Daniel and Matilda here. Are John, Elizabeth and Daniel on the 1861 census, with a Mary as well?

	I am not sure that this is the right family but they are brick makers. 1861 different wife or is it a mistake? Check marriage date.
