Looking for some help in finding info on a relative who died on his 33rd birthday 10/04/1916 serving in Messopotania.
Harry Smith was his name and he came from Staffordshire, that is all I know.
Where do i start? where is he buried? what records will be available and where do i look.

Ancestry shows a medal card for him - He was awarded the British Medal, the Victory Medal and the 15 Star.

Thanks all for your swift reply. That is a great help.
I have got my Harry Smith on the 1901 census as born in Norton, Staffs son of Thomas and Elizabeth and I know this is the correct one. RG13/2619 page 24
