Just had a message from Donald.


"No I dont have a marriage certificate but he was36 when he got married on 29th december 1893"



I am trying at the moment to find out how Donald knew his age if he does not have the cert or if the occupation for the family posted in 1901 matches.

John Crichton was born 14th May 1857 in Kinnoul, Perthshire he married Elizabeth Smith on the 29th December 1893. He was 36 she was 29. They Had a Daughter Agnes Begswood Crichton on 30th October 1894.

He was a plumber



At the moment the 1901 family looks promising.
