Im trying to find my nans parents. My nan was called Mary Aileen Doris Chapman and she was born in 1925 would greatly appreciate any information

Hi Amy,

Where was your nan born?

Using the 2 middle names didn't show anything on freebmd but dropping doris showed this;

Chapman Mary A Turner Durham 10a 722

Turner would be her mothers maiden name.

She was born in India and she was raised in Calcutta and her maiden name was Lefebour until she got married to Lancelot Chapman.

where and when did she marry Lancelot?

She married him in 1952 and they were married in Calcutta, India. Lancelot died in 1967 and my nan in 2006
