Do you know when she married William Gibbs? If you get a copy of the marriage certificate it will tell you her fathers name and also her age, this should make it easier to find her on a census.

Where were they from?

Btw, loads of women were giving birth at the age of 32 and even older!!

HELLLLLLLLLP i am trying to find my grandfathers mum MARY JANE GIBBS NEE PARKER, someone told me in a census it was I n not J but the birth certificate said MARY JANE i found a birth for 1888 but my grandfather was born in 1920 so that would make her 32 which we thought was a little old but as for anything else i can't find anything whatso ever if any one can help me there were 4 more children there was LEONARD GIBBS b 1921, CHARLIE GIBBS, AMY GIBBS, and HARRY GIBBS and her husband was WILLIAM EDWARD can some one please help
