well the records were moved to the Family Records Centre Islington known as the FRC but this closed earlier this year and the big books with the GRO refs were transferred to National Archives Kew which will be available to search on microfiche,However you have never been able to view actual certs all you will get is the GRO ref which you then use to order from www.gro.gov.uk |

use to be st catherine house,,in london not sure where its is now, but if you know the area where the birth was the locial reg office will be able to help |
