Well Lindsey you have just made my day I do believe it was a second marriage and two of the children were to Esther. My grandfarther was also born in the parish of ealing but I cannot find a birth registration

I think this may take some untangling with out buying too many birth certs its definitely a combined family , I'm trying to see him on previous censuses, I'll keep digging, where is KarthrynB when you need her ?!!!

Diddydoris he may well be. the info I have was from my cousin leonie young who acquired the info from one Carol Hickmott 1903 could have been mistaken for 1908 but he was born in the parish of ealing. What does Watford standfor?

Lindsey, Thankyou very much for your help I hope it is him. I will add his farther and mothers name to my tree and see if I get any hot matches. How can I find his mothers maiden name?

Description at the Parish church, Norwood. They were married by banns. Witnesses were Thomas Truby and Harriett Truby. Both witnesses and the groom made their mark. Henry was a labourer at the time of marriage. Both were stated to be of full age


Now I'm playing with you, if you go to Ancestry Search trees and put in Henrys name etc you can find a tree with them on .

Dear Peter INo I'm not related Ive got to the point where Im not too bothered if I never find another relative.on my tree! The worst bunch of mis-spellings ever, other peoples look ups are easy by comparison.

He married Esther Elizabeth Margetts Sep qtr 1898 Brentford 3a 268. Four children from this marriage Christobel, Eva, Nellie & Francis.
In 1901 were living at 3 Jay Villas, Ealing, Middlesex.
