If Christine and I are right then this should be her daughter |

Could she have married? |

That would make sense then Jim wouldn't it - she should then show up on census from 1871 as married. |

Thank you for that Jim - that will obviously be the first one that she would have been on. I am not aware of a Frederick in this particular branch of the family but as I cannot seem to see the originals of images today I couldn't check the details I found on the 1871 census. |

Gladys - thank you the 1851 is definitely her. Alice not so sure about the 1871 - the date of birth is wrong by a couple of years and Cowley is/was definitely in Gloucestershire although Oxfordshire now |

I am trying to track down Elizabeth Taylor born approx 1833 in Cowley Gloucestershire - daughter of Samuel and Sarah and sister of Sarah Ann and Edwin. I can find her in the 1861 census, but not before then - a possible in the 1871 census living with a Frederick (as his sister) but for some unknown reasons on the Ancestry site my computer is having trouble looking at the original - it just freezes. Also haven't been able to see a marriage. |
