I think they went to Durban, Cape Town
When i'm not sure,
I have three picture of the family two pictures were taken in Durban and the other one in Oudtshoom.

They did sail to south Africa
and i think it was on the HMS Birmingham

You'll have to be more specific regarding the time frame.
Do you have any idea to which country in Africa he emigrated and more or less what year.
If it was South Africa, I have had a look on the minimal genealogy sites we have and have found a dayswork of Robert Wilson ranging from 1876 to 1948, but it will not be possible to find out more details on his daughter and wife without consulting the Estate files in the Cape Town Archives and this is only for the Cape area. You have a mammoth task on your hands as we do not have the facilities for genealogy that the overseas sites offer. If you would like to look on the archives sites for SA you can go to www.nationalarchives.org.za but the data won't tell you much as you would have to physically go to the archives to search their records to check the details, or perhaps you could get a professional genealogist to do the searches for you. There are also many Roberts with further Christian Names, but contact the archives and ask for their guidance.

Hi
I'm looking for Robert Wilson known as Bob who emigrated to Africa, I do not have dates, but do know that he had a daughter called Millicent
who married a person called Van Haus i think thats the way you spell it.
