I i'm not sure if I can help, but do you have any other information about your smith family. My mothers maiden name was smith and am trying to find out about them for her. the reason why I am messaging you is because my first name is paula may, my mums name has may in it and so on. may is the family name which I am expected to carry on. As I noticed the lillian you were talking about also has may in her name. I know this is a long shot but as someone else said very commen name so it is like a needle in a hay stack.

~*One Of A Kind*~ Report 22 May 2008 23:30

Hello :)
I am trying to find relatives of my Grand-mother Lilian May Smith.

Born 17th July 1915 place of birth unknown, possibly London or Essex area.

Her father's name was James Smith, a Cabinet maker, mother's maiden name unknown.

I know Lilian married my Grandfather Herbert Teager in Rochford Essex in 1934.

They had 4 Sons Roy b 1935, Derek b 1937, Brian b 1939 and Raymond 1941 all born in Rochford except Raymond who was registered in Cannock. My Grandparents separated in the 1940's so i never met my Grandparents or my Uncles.

It would be nice to meet some new cousins! :D

Regards
Sharon
