Hi Dea,

Thanks for that, I also think there may be a link with this Wrenbury family. All I have is Samuel Taylor born abt 1804 in Wrenbury........he then appears on the 1851 census in Malpas with his family and stays there through to the 1881 Malpas census by which time he is 78 years old. The 1841 Malpas census is only partial and I think Samuel and his family are one of the families missing.......or they could be elsewhere! I have not looked as yet. As you know I tthen did a search for Taylors in Wrenbury in 1841 and the results came up with Esther & John Taylor which are of the age to be Samuels parents? One of Samuels sons is also John.....which makes me think it may be a possible that they are his parents.

Many thanks for your help.

Yes - She is down as visitor BUT strangely the 2 children are 'lodgers'

She is unmarried, which makes me think that the Taylor children ARE related to the Sants and she is visiting THEM ??

Do you have any further details I can follow?

Hi Dea,

Many thanks for that, as far as I can see there is no connection to make with surname of household so far.

The curious thing is that the girls in Wrenbury have the same names and ages as the girls in Malpas on the 1851! but cant be in two places at the same time I am sure.

I think there may be a connection with the Taylors in 1851 Wrenbury and the Taylors in 1851 Malpas it is just trying to find it. I did a parent search on John & Esther Taylor and nothing came up, as I think Samuel born 1804 may be a son. Hope to get to Chester next week so will gather all the info I have and try to connect the families.

Many thanks again for your help.

Ann

PS Is Emma down as visitor only, no relation to the Sant family?

Dea,

I think Esther & John may be the parents of a Taylor I have born Wrenbury and later living most of his life in Malpas.
Can you see who Emma Taylor is visiting in Wrenbury? Also who is Margaret with,

Many thanks

Thanks Dea & Reggie, no I thought there may be a chance of them alive and still living in Wrenbury so decided to go down that route first, but that looks like it may be her Dea.

Can you check the 1851 for any Taylors in Wrenbury?

Many thanks

Hi All,

Can anyone do a search for the Taylors John & Esther (Wrenbury) on the 1851 census. I have them on the 1841 registration district Nantwich in Cheshire.

Not holding out much hope as they would be aged 90 & 85 years.
Also there were only five Taylors on the 1841 in Wrenbury, can you check how many are on the 1851

Heres hoping! many thanks Ann
