Hi, has anyone got any ideas on where to try next to find my great grandfather. The problem is my nan is alive and well but is no help due to her father leaving the family home when she was 2.
I have my great grandparents marriage certificate and all i know is his name was George Robson born about 1911 and his father was also a George and he was a coal miner. My nan seems to recall that her father came from Newcastle but that not 100%.
Robson in Newcastle is like looking for a needle in a haystack.

My great grandmother remarried so i assume she got divorced???

I would like to find out what happened to him

Any ideas?
Vicky

Marriage happened in 1936 - George was a batchelor and worked as a labourer for a bookie.
My great grandmother remarried in 1955
