Landwehr's from Germany

Janette Report 8 May 2008 11:31

Would like to know if anybody has connections with German Landwehr's.
My Great Grandfather Charles Henry (formerley known as Carl Heinrich) arrived in Australia (according to Stat Dec)21June 1889 aboard the "Africa" having departed from Bremen in Northern Germany.
His mothers name was believed to have been Ann Meyer? I believe he had brothers Frederick and William and sisters Catherine and Marie.
I have information from forward of him, but nothing further back. Would be grateful for any help.

Kind regards

Jan Landwehr in Western Australia
