	Whixley was the home of my 2g grandfather William Russell, 1796 to 1815. Marriage to Elizabeth Bains 6/10/1796 and 5 of 6 children born there. His birth is mentioned as Green Hammerton (abt 1775). But where did he come from? Any information gratefully received. Don M
