I am trying to trace ancestors born in Ireland, probably Mayo according to census. Patrick was born about 1820 and as far as I can find out was married to Ann Cassidy. Their son John was born in Ireland about 1845 but their other children were born in Walsall, Staffordshire (Thomas 1851, Patrick 1854, Mary 1856 died 1857 and Ann 1858) Have tried record office but was told I need to go to Dublin to check myself. The name has changed several times over the years and varies between Nary/Narey/Neary. |
