Hi On the 1891 census Rebecca Fuller age 6 is a boarder along with her father John age 25 and younger half brother James age 1 . John Fuller Married Amy Rebecca Beeney c Oct 1886 So John must have been married before Amy Beeney, do you agree ???? , but I can't find who John's first wife was , or what happened to her ( Rebecca ) on the 1901 census

her B/C will tell you mums name

I know how you feel, John was only married to Amy for 3 years, when she jumped into the Thames and drowned 16 November 1889 the year James was born so there was as you say a 1st wife but who ????

Rebecca Fuller was born Oct quarter 1884----- John married Amy Beeney October quarter 1886 in Wandsworth,-- So Rebecca was born 2 years before John's marriage to Amy

I was trying to find a marriage for Thomas to Rebecca and couldn't see one

I've just clicked if Amy drowned in 1889...the census in the 1891


So maybe Amy & Thomas were siblings and thats why John is living with Thomas

Oh no and there is this birth too

I have the inquest report on Amy's death + her death certificate so those dates are right .and it seems that Rebecca was 2 years old when John remarried

Ok have now tied some of it together

While looking for Amy Rebecca Fuller birth there were 2 coming up.1880 & 1886

So it seems that Amy Beeney in the 1891 is Rebecca Beeney nee Fuller daughter

Rebecca & John were Siblings

It could be Amy would be 21 about when Rebecca was born--- I'll be off line for a while, I'll pop back later to see
