Have you thought that the names may have been turned round, it happened to a friend of mine.
have you tried
Frederick George Brown Dec Q 1907
Kensington 1a 112
or just plain
George Brown Sep Q 1907 Kensington
1a 118

who where the witnesses on the marriage
1931 I found Rose Rixon born Kensington
1908 so perhaps the Brown are also from
Kensington / Kilburn / Paddington /
Wilsden areas
Hope this might help Mavis

Have you tried to use another family tree site like ancestry. com or use .ca or use .uk for united kingdom It might surprise you that the information might be in another site. Its worth a try to do that!

Elizabeth

I think you are going to have to be patient and wait for the 1911 census to come out and hope that you can find the two Georges together on it.

Can someone help, for the past three year I have been trying to find the birth date of George Frederick Brown?
I have paid for a three year search at the GRO from 1906 to 1908, but unfortunately I did not find what I was looking for in all 14 certificates.
I have George Frederick's marriage certificate and it states he was 23 years old in 1931, his fathers was name was Frederick Thomas Brown and the profession of both father and son was costermonger and his mothers name was unknown.
I think George F may have lived in Kilburn or near that area in London W9 in the late 1920's. I do not have any information about parents or siblings or where they first came from.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Eliza
