William Smith born 1825 in Tillington,Sussex,parents are William and Ann. |

Maralyn they are not in Tillington on 1841 census. The only William Smith is born 1818 and married to Mary Smith. |

This is the nearest match I can find on 1841, looking at age of wife and children, it could be the second marriage for William Smith senior, his occ is gardener. |

Could this be him in 1851, even though the age is wrong. It says 31 but very difficult to read the original. Could he have lied to make himself older because he had an older wife? |
