I have a Henry Starford born about 1800 in County Durham, after one of my people died he remarried, in about 1845, I know they hd a Son, John Davison Starford about 1846 County Durham. Just trying to find his second wifes name, guessing her surname could be Davison, but would love to know her first name, hae looked for this second marriage withut any luck. Thank you XX. |

Hi this is an old post ,over 4 years, the place mentioned is Toddhills (Not Todddles ) That is a few houses near to Byers Green in County Durham I do know this area as it is an old stamping ground of mine. The other places mentioned are Westerton (My father lived there), Bishop Auckland ,which is a few miles away and is the county town of Co Duham, All records for the whole of Durham are deposited there nowadays County Durham records are also online just put in your browser County Durham Registrars Certificates +BINGO !!! |
