All I know is that Ada Farmer had a son, Fred Farmer out of wedlock back in 1912. He was born in Upton Leicestershire. She was said to have worked for a wealthy family as a housekeeper (was only young) had a bit of a fling with the head of the house (as the story goes) Grandad never spoke of her, She was said to have had a drink problem but later in life married and had another son, who is belived to have moved to Australia. Fred moved to Earl Shilton. |
