Hi, I am trying to find the descendents of my stepgrandmothers family who were born in Cornwall or the Isle of Wight. Her father Alfred Nunn b.1855 in Stitchworth (sic) Cambridgeshire married Martha Lewis b 1857 in Luxulyan Cornwall. Elizabeth (Nana) was born in 1877 Gwinear as was her brother William John b 1879. The two younger children Frederick b 1892 and Harriett 1885 we both born in Northwood Isle of Wight when Alfred was a gamekeeper at Osbourne house.
I know nothing of the family since then except that William was a sailor at one time and one of the boys was a policeman.
Family rumour has is that the family were related to Aka Bilks mother/grandmother Jenny Bilk who lived in Australia. Nana used to call her Ten.
