Once we know who Dennis and Dora's parents are we can look then up on the 1901 census, but it won't show who their children were if they were married in 1903.

As Claire says, you need to get one of their birth certificates before you go any further, otherwise you may end up chasing the wrong parents.

You should also ask the lady who PM'd you how she knows their mother's name is Annie.

If I were you I'd order Dennis' birth cert before you do any more.
From this you'll get both his parents names & you can look for the marriage & order a cert.
It's possible that the Dora noted above is his sister but again you are going to have to order a cert to prove. There is no point in doing this until you've found the marriage.

Each cert can be ordered from the GRO & will cost £7 & you are going to need quite a few

Ok, I've just seen that on the other thread. So do we know where the information about her mother came from?

Did you realise that Mansfield is in Nottinghamshire, not Derbyshire? Is there any particular reason you think she was born in Derbyshire?

You can't get the other people living in the household when she was born because the last available census was in 1901. The 1911 census won't be online for another couple of years, but she was born too late to be on it.

The entry Sam's posted above means that Dora's full name was Dora Fantom, and her mother's maiden name was Clarke.
