Hello, all 'needles in a haystack' hunters!

I am looking for my father's family that was based in Wiltshire between at least the 1930's and 1940's. (Dad was born in 1939, died in 1993). He was better known as Terry. His early years' work was as a dairy hand, or 'Cow Man' as it says on my birth certificate. He had 5 children with Valerie.

He travelled about quite a lot, living in tied houses on farms. Many of my childhood years with him were spent in Kent.

Have found some information just today; his mother was called Hilda Emily (nee Robbins). His Dad, Arthur Herbert. He was born in a nursing home in Corsham.

The parents are recorded as living in Quarry Hill, Box.

He also mentioned more than once his enjoyment of the Wiltshire village of Derry Hill.

He may have had a sister named Pauline/Paula and a brother called Robert, though we think there are other siblings.

Would be wonderful to find the missing half of my family.

Good luck, everyone!

Mandy
