Member Since: May 2006 Posts: 4,987 Send Message	once again!!!!!!!!!! we are NOTsaying dont answer old threads BUT CKECK the date because if they are old the likely hood of the person that posted it seeing it after months or years is probably zero so if you see something you think is relavent to you and its got an old date send a p.m"private message" to the person that way hopefully you will get a response , they may not even still be a member after all that time so they are never going to see your message

Member Since: March 2003 Posts: 4,295 Send Message	i have to say someone recently posted on a thread of mine that was 5 yrs old someone noticed this and pmd me they also told the person to pm me which they did as a result i may be in contact with a missing link in my family just a lot of 'history' to work through cos its not straight forward anyhow, what i am trying to say is there are some of us on here who do still check there old threads so i dont think it should be a no no to post on them cos you never know Bev

	Della This is a thread for information on why it is best not to add to very old threads. I suggest you re-post your request on either the Records Office or the Trying to Find boards ..... you'll get a lot of help there! sylvia
