Hi I have found 8 possible Mary Ann Jones on 1881 census. So i was thinking that if i seen more William and Mary Ann results from the 1901 census i would find a connection.

What's the problem with you two?
I asked for simple details that if i had access to census to the census system i could check for data in mins.
Kirsty you found quite quickly details for William Allen, Mary and family in the 1901 census your search was based on William Allen so data ie birth place is shown for him all i asked was for you to check details for Mary Ann.
I thought that you kindly gave your time to help members on this site your last two comments don't go down as being helpful.

Where someone marries is not an indication of where they were born or where they lived after the marriage.

Basic info such as approx ages and birth places help with census search but you have not provided any.

Hi thank you for your replies i do understand what a great job you guys/gals are doing giving up your time to help other member with their family history research.
But you must take into account that because you fully understand how to use the system it do not always follow that everyone knows the correct way of getting the best data from this site.
I opened up more threads thinking at the time i was keeping my request for details up to date. To keep members like myself coming back and asking for help and carrying on using this site. It is not going to happen if when simple mistakes are made and members are chastised and made look foolish ie I GIVE UP AND SOME PEOPLE

The details i have been asking for re the Allen family are not for myself i am acting as a middle man i was asked by a old couple that are friends of my family if i would help them find family details. Our friends asking for help live in Blackpool and i live in Scotland and they are both in their seventies.
Brian Allen is our friends name his father was Albert Edward Allen born 1902 Worcester, on his dads birth certificate it gives parents names as William Allen and Mary Ann Allen nee Jones both of Worcester i know from Reggies notes ONLY 7 POUNDS that if i order a copy of William and Mary's wedding certificate i will get data for William and Mary's age and parents details. and this i will do. In the meen time i was hoping that with some time and luck i would come accoss some family details in the Census records ie cross checking names ane place of Births i have looked up birth data for all Mary Ann Jones's on the BDM and 1881 census giving that she was having children in the early 1900's and that she married William Allen in 1894 Worcester i would guess she was born in the early/mid 1870's

Still need a few more details such as occupation of William from either the marriage cert or the birth cert of son. The address from the 1902 birth cert could be useful.

You do not say when son Harry was born - he could be Harry or Henry or could even be a middle name.

One on the 1901 census was born 1892 but this was before the possible marrage.

Brain i sure that his father Albert Edward brother Harry was older than his dad so if Harry was born in wedlock and before Albert he must have been born 1894-1902 Worcester

As everyone else has said it's all guessing without ages and occupations for William and Mary A.

I have also seen that there were 2 Albert Edwards born in 1902 in Worcester, so I hope he has the correct birth cert.

The family could be missing from the 1901 census or visiting family. Also mistranscribed.

Agree with you Glitter, it's hard enough to find some of them with age and birth place, its all guessing at the moment.
