We have finally found where the above lady, my father's great aunt, is buried. She spent almost 50 years in the South Yorkshire Asylum (later Middlewood Hospital) and died in February 1950. No one from my side of the family seemed to know anything about her.
It's possible that there is someone still alive in the Sheffield area who perhaps worked at the hospital and might even have remembered Kate.
