Find Ancestors

Found William in 1861 and 1871, now need to find in 1851 and 1841..............Trying to find another daughter for him who may have married a "Samson" ( surname )

William born in Eyam Derbyshire, Married Mary, three daughters - Mary born 1830, Hannah born 1833, Sarah born 1837,
But believe there may be another daughter but cannot locate and feel that the 1851 or the 1841 census for William may shed some light on it

Not showing another child though

On the 1861 William has a grandaughter with him called Caroline Samson age 15, and in 1871 there is a grandson calle William Thomas Samson age 20, I can't find the parents of these two and thought if I found William on the 1851 / 1841 it may help

I think she is actually Caroline Sansom rather than Sansom

Wonder why they don't show up on any census records apart from Caroline in 1861 and William Thomas in 1871.

Feel sure there is another child for William senior born 1800 who would then be the Mother of Caroline and William

Just seen the post on the marriage - interesting, could be that Eliza is the oldest daughter of William senior

Will go and have a scout around for her in the census records

Ok - looks like this could be them in 1841, with Eliza and a daughter called Charlotte who may be Eliza's twin and a son called William who may be the twin of Hannah

If you hadn't found the marriage of Eliza I doubt I would have found the 41 or the 51

Just wish I knew what happened to her and Joseph Sansom and why there children are with their grandparents and aunts etc and not with their parents

Need to start looking for a few deaths I think
